roarshack asked: Hello! I'm not sure if you'd know how to answer this, but I'm really hoping you can! I live in the city and I saw a fledging sparrow sitting on the sidewalk for hours. There are no trees, no bushes, a block in either direction of where I found it. Traffic is heavy. I've taken it indoors for the night to avoid raccoons/cats. I've given it water and some millet, but the poor thing is too scared to move. What should I do? I can't locate the nest!

I think maybe you should call Animal Control to help you out! Not an expert though, so would welcome any input from followers! Please answer either directly here or send a response directly to

youremygorgeouschaos asked: Hey there! I was wondering if you know how to get cockatiels used to water? I have no idea how old mine is because he was given to me from the previous owners of the house I'm living in. He seems to like when I spray him with a water bottle but I'm not sure how often I should actually bathe him. If you know anything please answer me back. Take care. <3

Any followers who know please send answers directly to youremygorgeouschaos! :)

socks192 asked: Okay, do you guys know anything about birds? Cause my parakeet is acting weird, like slow, not his cheery self, off balance, and his head isn't turning to the left. He can move it to the right just fine, but he absolutely refuses to turn it left. The vet office we usually call is closed and it is too late to call the local pet shop. It just happened and I am worried. Know anything that might help???

Any followers who can help, please send messages directly to socks192!

gulaab: I know it’s a slim chance to post it on here, but our bird was a best friend to my family. He was a companion; he had been with us for almost 10 years. My mom was walking out the door and he flew on her head, she moved her head and he flew out the door. As we called his name, he responded but it got dark and we don’t know where he went. Our family has been looking for him since then, going to parks, pet shops, etc. His name was Tutu. He was friendly, very social, loved to sit on shoulders/heads. He loved to say his name and whistle. His crest was one of the longest/softest I had ever seen. He probably is around the area.
He lost near 186th ST in Hialeah/Miami, FL. Even if you don’t live near there, please reblog it - you never know who may see it. Please help me and my family, we are devastated.

Suggestion Time!

I figure I’ll do this each time I get a substantial increase in followers (and am beginning to drag in inspiration. Really, it’s hard to top the Tribble owlball.) So: you know the drill- what bird species would you like to see? :)

Suggestion Post!

Hey all! I’ve got a question for you- what kind of birds would you like to see?
